Where should I stay?
See the Accommodation page.
What's the weather like?
Changing all the time. Fickle, but hopefully it will be nice for the wedding! Like most of Northern California, it will probably be warm during the day (75F / 24C) and colder at night (50F / 10C). Rain and fog are a possibility.
What should I wear to the wedding?
Please -- just be comfortable and look nice. There's no need to go beyond semi-formal attire.
However, if you wear jeans, tilley hats, juicy velour tracksuits, UGG boots, or crocs, we will instruct the photographer to leave you out of the photos. Likewise, you will probably feel silly in a ballgown or tux.
The wedding will be mostly outdoors, on the grass. It may get cold at night, and rain and fog are always a possibility, so we suggest:
Can I bring a +1?
Invited guests only, please; Mar Vista has strict space restrictions.
I just got a {Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Google+, tumblr, livejournal, etc} and my followers/subscribers will be devastated if I am out of contact for an entire weekend. Can I livestream your wedding?
Feel free to take and post as many pictures of the weekend's activities, the dinner and reception and dancing as you wish, but please refrain from photographing and posting anything during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer "capturing the moment," and for our collective sanity, we would prefer that hers be the only lightbulb flashing.
Are you registered?
Yep, Sur La Table, like any good California yuppies.
However, what is most important to us is having you with us at such a big moment in our lives; your presence at our wedding is present enough!

- Flat shoes, or heels with wide/stacked heels. No stilettos! You'll sink.
- Jackets, sweaters or shawls to cover up at night.
